Fergus Butler Gallie is assistant priest at Holy Trinity Sloane Square. He is the author of A Field Guide to the English Clergy, Best Book of the Year for the Times, Mail on Sunday and BBC History. His latest book, Priests de la Resistance; The Loose Canons who fought Fascism in the Twentieth Century was described by the Observer as “A hugely enjoyable, eccentric account of clerical heroism in the face of evil.”
