Join us for our next Parish Walk, from Falconwood to Abbey Wood. A walk through ancient woodland taking in a castle folly, breathtaking views and ending in the picturesque ruins of Lesnes Abbey.


Parish Walk - Falcolnwood to Abbey Wood Saturday 10th May from 10am A gentle 6.5 mile walk through ancient woodland hidden in suburban Southeast London taking in a castle folly, sweeping views of the London skyline and Essex countryside, ending in the picturesque ruins of Lesnes Abbey. We will set off from Falconwood Station at 10am (Suggested trains: 9:15 from Cannon Street, 9:25 from Charing Cross, 9:20 or 9:34 from London Bridge (Oyster card zone 4)). Ending in Abbey Wood with regular service back to central London via the Elizabeth Line.

There'll be a pub for lunch at the end and cafes along the way.Walkers will need sensible footwear and money to pay for the train fare from London to Falconwood and bring money for lunch. Register to attend by signing up at this link.
